Three Approaches to
Decorative Concrete.

Hand-Troweled Surface

Slate Texture

Using Elite Crete Systems Thin-Finish and a steel concrete trowel, we apply a slate-like texture by hand. Once dry, we engrave a design — slate, stone, border, or custom pattern — into the surface using a concrete cutter. We then stain using Elite Crete Systems Antique Staining Base and a range of pigments. Staining brings out the texture and produces subtle to dramatic mottling — light and dark shades layered for a finish that looks genuinely handcrafted. Each floor is project-specific and completely one-of-a-kind.

Maximum Slip Resistance

Spray Texture

Using Elite Crete Systems Thin-Finish and a drywall hopper gun, we spray concrete onto the surface — providing maximum slip resistance with a soft sandpaper-like feel underfoot. We stencil out a design, spray the texture coat over the stencil, then pull the stencils to reveal the pattern. Color is mixed directly into the concrete before spraying — producing a clean, solid-color appearance. We sometimes apply highlights — a light misting of a contrasting color — creating a subtle paver-like effect.

Stamped Concrete Overlay

We use Elite Crete Systems Thin-Finish as primer and Texture Pave as a build coat — raked 1/4 to 3/8 inch thick across the entire surface. A liquid release agent and seamless texture mats stamp a pattern into the material. We engrave cobblestone, flagstone, or brick designs and stain using Antique Staining, Acid Staining, or both. Optional grouting of the stamped joints creates a more authentic stone appearance. Sealed with Elite Crete Systems CSS Acrylic Concrete Sealer.

Surface Prep

Indoor: diamond ground. Outdoor: pressure washed. Cracks cleaned out and welded with a two-part epoxy and quartz mixture.

Bond Coat

One to two coats of Elite Crete Systems Thin-Finish bonded to the concrete pores — filling minor imperfections.

Texture Pave Patching

Major surface imperfections patched with Elite Crete Systems Texture Pave before the decorative system is applied.

We inspect every inch with you, hand over care instructions, and stand behind the work.

Color Options

How We Add Color.

Antique Staining

Elite Crete Systems Antique Staining Base with multiple pigments creates rich, layered color — producing subtle to dramatic mottling unique to each installation. The signature finish for slate texture and stamped overlays.

Acid Staining

Acid staining reacts chemically with the concrete — producing permanent, translucent earth tones (warm browns, tans, blue- greens) that develop organically from the slab's chemistry. Often combined with Antique Staining for deeper color.

Already Have Stamped Concrete?

We Maintain It Too.

Stamped concrete dulls and fades without regular care. We pressure wash, restain with Antique Staining Base, and reseal with CSS Acrylic Concrete Sealer — restoring original vibrancy, or changing the color entirely. We can even convert a beige and brown floor to grey. Recommended every 2–3 years for Bucks County and Eastern PA surfaces.
